It's a rap! Well, it's really more like rock, but you get the picture. The EP is! That kind of say's it all. Halloween 2005 will go down in history as the official release date of "Anytime is Fine"! Our first celebration of the release will be at the Whiskey Bar in Hoboken on November 9th. The finished product was a long time coming, but worth every bit of the journey. What now? Well, it's just the beginning of what will be an exciting experience promoting "Anytime is Fine", but we are also working on some new music and more than anything, we want to play. A special thanks to everyone who helped us through the journey, you know who you are. A very special thanks to Kat and Brenna! It just wouldn't have worked without you. Rock On!

I kid you not….we are so close to having the EP in our hands that it’s scary. It has been a long road and unbelievable to us that its almost here. Right up until the end, it was truly a learning experience and I’m sure its not over yet. There are a couple fun gigs coming up in November, but hopefully we will be seeing everyone before that. Once this CD is in our hot little hands, its party time and your all invited. Be sure to sign up on the mailing list for up to the second, well almost, news. Ciao for now,
Pinky

Just imagine, you get in your car to go to work in the morning. It's a nice day! I think I'll take route 80, it's early, it shouldn't be too bad...You get on the highway and it's moving nicely. Yeah.it's going to be a good day. All of a sudden, you're at a dead stop! The guy next to you is picking his nose. It's stop and go. You dribble coffee down the front of your shirt. Nice.. You decide to get off 80 and take the back roads in. Good call! You manage to get over all 4 lanes and take the exit. It's going to take you a little out of the way, but at least you will be moving. You dribble more coffee, only this time it's on your pants.you know where. Now all day, you will have that little spot right there on your pants. Nice... You're cruising right along now when you notice that you need gas. There isn't a gas station on this route, so you are going to have to go out of your way to get gas. No worries, it's still faster than 80 was moving. So, now you're gassed up and ready to go. Hmmmmmm which way? You decide to go back to the route you were on, it was moving pretty good. Ok..you're not going to be late, you have high hopes. You might as well drink some more coffee; you've already ruined your pants and shirt, what more could happen. Just then a big orange monster filled with tiny morons from hell pulls out in front of you and it's eyes turn red and flashy as you slam on your breaks and your coffee goes flying all over the dashboard and windshield. Nice... You think.I had to walk to school when I was a kid..these spoiled brats get picked up in front of their houses. Not only that, but they walk slower than any animal you've seen on wild discover. The temptation to yell obscenities rushes through the evil dark side of your brain, but you manage to suppress it all the way through the next 20 stops. You're late for work now and there is nothing you can do about it but keep on plugging away as fast as you can. That's the best analysis of the work on the EP over the last year that I could come up with to explain why it's taken so long. It's not over yet, but we are so close.
Ciao,
Pinky

Wow, do we have news or what! It's Alex- he's here. Congrats to Drew and Brenna! We'll let them get over the thrill of dirty diapers and then its back to work. Speaking of back to work..its certainly been a job getting the EP together. You wanna talk learning curve, we've been weaving in and out so much, we had to buy a 4 wheel drive. If we could just win the lottery, it would go a lot faster. No one is more anxious to get this finished than us. Once it's done, get ready to party because there is going to be a celebration and you will all be invited. So, ciao for now and stay tuned, I promise I won't stay away too long.

It’s been awhile…it may seem like I’m ignoring you, but I’ve been busy. Very busy! Too busy! Summer has simply slipped through my pasty white fingers. Yes, that’s right, pasty white because of lack of sun and fun. But, it’s all worth it. The work on the EP has been fun and as you will soon hear, very rewarding. We are going to take a little time off from the gigging scene to finish up the loose ends. It’s all so time consuming when you work a day job, but we have ventured through it and myself and the boys are starting to get a little excited about the release. I say a little because we still have some work to do. Once we finish everything and send it off to be pressed, I’m sure there is going to be some sort of celebration that involves food and drink. Not that we ever need a reason for food and drink, but it is a good excuse to indulge. So for now and I promise it won’t be as long, ciao and remember…..always stay in the pink.

K……..I know, its been a long time. But, time is controversial…..and a long time can be a short time ……depending. I’m taking liberties on this and making a pink decision….it was a short time. Merely moments in our minds…….and depending on the size of your mind, it can vary even more. Ok, now that we have successfully defined time…..lets just say that time is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things unless you have to go, if you know what I mean. So, here’s the latest news on the EP…..it will be out soon. I can’t help it. We’ve been busy and it’s the whole day job thing that gets in the way of life as it should be. So….what’s in the near future, well….let me tell you…..lots of fun stuff. Just check out the gig page, and there’s more coming. Don’t worry, I’ll let you know. Anyways….I just wanted to check in and make small talk…and remember…keep your ears on.
Ciao,
Pinky

Excitement is in the air...the electricity of spring in the air makes us all want to go to the gym. All we want to do is get out of the studio.
Yeah, we are still there... We are very close to the end, but not before we deplete the global supply of coffee and lime chips. We have lots of good things coming up this spring and summer. Some of it will not be announced until very close to the date, so keep your eyes on the website..not physically...and if your not on the email, sign up, you won't want to miss this.
Don't forget, we will be having tryouts for bandaid positions in the near future..sign up early!!!!
Ciao,
Pinky

20 February 2004
Its February……it’s past valentines day….so what is there to get excited about? What is there to pump your spirits and make you want to dance….so to speak? Well, there is the extraordinary excitement that comes from knowing that soon…. yes very soon… and especially quick for those of you who are older and know the feeling of time passing faster than you would think possible….where was I? Oh yes….. the excitement of knowing that in the very near future you will be able to purchase for you very own collection, the first ever green marie EP….wow!!! Gives ya the chills don’t it. We have been in the studio every weekend and on many evenings. We have been spending way too much time together and the uncontrollable giddy laughter has been right there with us most of the time. It’s all coming together like a well-oiled machine…I always wanted to say that. With all that said….I must get back to work.
Until later and as always,
Pinky

19 January 2004
I’m in the water; it’s warm and blue. I’m looking at fish and coral and it feels good to be floating in the ocean after the huge all-inclusive meal I had at the resort last night. It must be time for a fruity rum drink soon…… my fingers are wrinkled. I had better get out of the water and GO SHOVEL THE 5 INCHES OF SNOW ON MY DRIVEWAY!
It’s full blown winter in New Jersey and my inner self keeps saying….go back to California, it’s warm there. But, it’s all about the band now. It consumes my every moment. Yup, it’s true. It’s ok, I like it. The guys are great, talented and tolerate me.
Well, I know you’ve heard this before, but we really are going into the studio. We have all the technical stuff resolved, the new songs are ready and the recording dates are set. There’s a lot involved, right down to the front cover of the CD case. It’s a job!
Ok, it’s an adventure too. We are looking to have this thing all packaged and ready for some awesome CD release party’s in early spring…when it’s warmer………..
So, for now, I leave you to ponder the thought of baking on a sailboat in the Caribbean.

20 December 2003
Go ahead…..have a ball during the holidays! Drink (let someone else drive), eat (oh my god! Eat eat eat!) and enjoy the season. It’s ok, it’s a short period of time, we should all be able to let loose once in a while. In January, when you can’t move off the couch and you can’t understand why you’re not full after a normal meal, you can work it off by shoveling your way out of the snow. Words to live by…by Pinky.
But, during the excitement of the season, don’t forget….we will be at the Lion's Den on Saturday the 27th. To anyone who reads this….and shows up for the gig, its good for one drink, compliments of Pinky Cootiesprinkles.
Ok…..thanks….much thanks….to Ro for the new signature sound that will accompany the band wherever we go. I can’t really describe it perfectly, but if you say aow and think about Viggo Mortenson at the same time, it might work. Ok, it won’t work for everyone, but you get the idea. And also…a special award to Rick for making the longest trip ever to see us live..
The guys wanted me to extend their holiday cheers to all and the wish of peace on earth. I can’t think of a better time for that wish to come true.
A Peaceful Season to All,
Pinky

15 December 2003
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow….in Alaska or Vermont, anywhere but here!
Big news…..we just found out that the Zep tune “Dazed and Confused” was originally titled “Ray and Dave”, but they didn’t think it would sell, so they changed it at the last minute.
In other news….the next big reality show is going to place 4 or 5 musicians on an island with duct tape and see if they can build their own instruments and create a band. Word has it that Drew has been practicing and intends to submit his application soon.
So, to be fair….rumor has it that Pam was kissed by Richard Nixon as an infant. This explains a few things, but opens the mind to a field of jokes that I cannot repeat in the news. On the other side of the news…it is a spectacular day with Saddam in custody. Well with the Broadway gig under our belt and that’s where its staying, its time to move on to bigger and better things… We will start it out with a trip to the Fireside this Tuesday and the Lions Den on the 27th. We need some holiday faces at both of these gigs, so if you can make it, your support will be greatly appreciated…… in some non-monetary way. We will be making a short appearance at the The Dogs of War Christmas Benefit for Cancer at the Broadway next Saturday as well. With all that said…I should probably go shovel.

Graciously,
Pinky Cootiesprinkles

8 December 2003
Wow!.... it was a grueling 4 hour drive with one pit stop to pick up Kat, but we made it. For those of you.......that would be everyone except Rich........ who did not make it, you missed a great show. Not just us, High Scores and Jerseyband shared the stage with us that night and it was rockin to say the least. You will have a second chance in February to enjoy the C-Note, and I strongly suggest it. Not only was the sound good, but the bartender, Keith, is awesome. My martini rocked.
This Friday, we will be at the Broadway once again, only for the first time in a long time, it will be with drums... If you haven't heard Drew yet, this is a great opportunity. He is the man!
We will also be appearing at the Fireside in Denville on Tuesday the 16th around 10ish...We could use some support on this one..if you can make it, please do.
On the lighter side of greenmarie news.....some thoughts about putting a head cam on Dave. The day in the life of Dave the day of a gig... thoughts?
Anyway, until next time,
Pinky Cootiesprinkles
